Bubbleheads

I do not know what part of the world you live in, but in my part of the world we are in lock down. Why you ask? Quite simply, because people do not grasp the concept of social distancing, wearing masks, washing your hands, and using hand sanitizers. Oh ya, DO NOT MEET IN GROUPS! Stay in your own bubble. In reality it all boils down to discipline.

What is discipline? Discipline does not mean punishment as most people think. Nick Saban , Alabama football coach defines it as: “Something that I know I am supposed to do that I really do not want to do, can you make yourself do it? Or something that you are not supposed to do, but you want to do it, can you keep yourself from doing it.” The decisions that we make will help us remain focused on the process so we can get the outcome we want. If we do not, the Shitshow of CV-19 will continue. The Media can report stories on the number of CV-19 cases, who lives who dies, who gets the vaccine who doesn’t it really doesn’t matter. What matters is us. We are the ones who determine the future of CV-19.

My Mother, who is 97 was recently diagnosed Asymptomatic CV-19. It has been six days and she has not shown any of the signs. She has dementia and does not understand CV-19, which I guess could be a good thing. This lady has survived The Great Depression, World War Two, The Cold War, Stock Market crashes, 9-11 to name a few. It takes amazing discipline to move your life forward through these events and come out on the other side. We are not asked to do a lot, but there is sector of society that is undisciplined, that is being defiant and we are all paying the price. Stop being so dam selfish and wake the hell up. Politicians have better things to with their time. They really do not like imposing the sanction’s but because the undisciplined actions of a few they have no other choice. No matter what they do they will get criticized by some group who feels they have been wronged. These groups should be pissed at that groups that are causing the mess, not those who are trying to fix it.

I owe everything I have in my life to my parents and the sacrifices that they made for me, my Brother and Sister. Surely I can do one simple thing.

Stay Disciplined.

Until next time, be well stay safe.
