Stuff

So, here we are again. I am back writing. It has been some time since I have posted anything because of a variety reasons. In the last few months we have all undergone a variety of changes. How we handle these changes will determine our future. If you told me a year ago I would be wearing a mask while working I would have told you that the 60’s were too good to you. But, here we are wearing a mask and I am ok with it.

Baseball has started back up again and the Blue Jays are facing the possibility of playing all road games because the Ontario Government did the right thing. Hockey is gearing up and teams are preparing to go into their bubbles. I don’t know about you, but watching the Stanley Cup playoffs in August does absolutely nothing for me. However, we know it is about the money because someone in the NHL said it was not about the money.  As for the PGA Tour welcome to world of amateur golf, where no one watches or applauds. It is just you and your buddies.  Bryson Debowflex  is killing it 400 yards plus and the USGA and the Royal and Ancient are still contemplating whether the ball is going too far! A short hitter on the PGA Tour is 290 yards. By the way you can’t use the long putter because that is considered an advantage. Ya I know, but I can not let it go! The governing bodies of golf are as out of touch as the Board of Directors at my golf club. That is another story for another day.

The Media is still floating the “new normal “term, but we have yet to figure out what is normal. I believe it is just managing the daily chaos that works its way into our life. I for one have taken on the mantra “control what you can control in the moment”. Once you do that, start over. Eventually, you become good at handling chaos.

Remember, be good to each other and treat everyone with respect.

It doesn’t take a lot of effort.

Until next time.

Be well, be safe.
